Top 5 Skincare Products

Picking out only 5 products was a little tough. Therefore, it came down to what I have been using the most since 2016 started. As I was on holiday for 2 months, I used these products whilst abroad and being home now, I am still using these products.

  1. Tea Tree Essential Oil

Tea tree oil has to be my number one product in my “skincare routine”. A few drops mixed in my face and body moisturiser is necessary. Whenever, I feel a spot coming out or if I have a cut, I apply a tad bit of tea tree oil on top. Whilst I am on holiday, I always have a bottle on me, it soothes those unwanted mosquito bites. You can also add a few drops into your shampoo to beat those scalp problems.

Purchased from: Bodycare
Price: Under £2 for 10ml

  1. Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Back Spray

This is the first back spray I have come across. I have never had to look for one before but I thought I would purchase this for my teen sibling who has been experiencing back acne for a while. No word of a lie, it works! Obviously, it will not clear up overnight but if you apply it twice a day without fail, you will see results almost immediately. I was amazed with the results, I took advantage of Boots when they had the 3 for 2 offer a few weeks ago and purchased a few more bottles. I’ve started to use it on myself now, as I find the odd pimple on my shoulder or back, and it’s so easy to use as it’s a spray you don’t need to ask anyone to rub it in, just wait till it dries up and you’re good to go.

Purchased from: Boots
Price: £4.99 for 150ml

  1. Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Charcoal Facial Wash

This facial wash is a daily detox, which contains active charcoal, so I was expecting a charcoal black product but in-fact it was a dark metallic grey, a little thick and gooey but it works wonders. It does what it says on the tube; removes impurities and excess oil. As it is a thick consistency, I leave it on my face (like a mask) for a minute or two; it does the job when my t-zone area is feeling oily than usual.

Purchased from: Boots
Price: £4.25 for 150ml

  1. Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Charcoal Facial Scrub

This deep cleansing facial scrub is almost like the wash, as it too contains active charcoal. It also contains apricot seed powder that acts as the exfoliator. The seeds are not too big and they do not feel too rough on the skin. I use this 2-3 times a week and it leaves my skin feeling very soft and refreshed.

Purchased from: Boots
Price: £4.59 for 150ml

  1. Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Body Scrub

Exfoliating the rest of your body is just as important as exfoliating your face. To ensure your body gets as much love and care as your face, use this 1-2 times a week and work the body scrub in circular motions or you can use it with an exfoliating glove for the best results.

Purchased from: Boots
Price: £4.99 for 200ml

My love for tea tree and witch hazel has grown over the years. At first, I was not too fond of the smell for either of them but I got use to them overtime. When I came across these Tea Tree and Witch Hazel products from Boots, I was super excited to try them out and since my first purchase; there have been empties and a few more purchases. I definitely recommend these products to both male and females who suffer from acne or just want to improve their skincare on a budget.
