Quick & Easy Watermelon Slush

You know it’s summer when your fridge is packed with Watermelon (or is that just in my house?) I love eating watermelon, especially when it’s cut neatly; there is something satisfying about long, thin watermelon slices.

In the UK, we don’t get much sun, but when we do and if it’s watermelon season, I whizz up some watermelon slush for myself. In the past, I would blend watermelon and ice together; however, I now have a new and improved recipe. If you haven’t tried it, you should, it’s delicious!

1 bowl Watermelon (sliced & diced)

2 ½ cups of ice

1 cup of lemonade or sparkling flavoured water (optional)

  1. Pop the watermelon into a blender, add in the ice, and then blend until it is a smooth consistency.
  2. You can also add in a cup of lemonade or sparkling flavoured water into the blender to give it that ZING!  (I would recommend peach flavoured water. It complements the watermelon amazingly!)
  3. Serve into a glass and enjoy! 🙂

It is super easy to make and share with your family and friends on a hot summers day.

Quick Update!

I know it’s been a while since I last posted. I thought I would share another one of my favourite drinks, as it’s summer and there are watermelons in every other supermarket (so, it’s easy to get your hands on one if you fancy making this).

If you follow me on social media, you will know that I am currently busy planning and preparing for a family wedding, which will take place in a few weeks.

Keep an eye out for my guest posts throughout August. 🙂

Hugs,
