It’s March already! Wow! February was the month I focused on myself and decided it’s time to improve my lifestyle. I will write all about that another time but for now, I’ll be sharing my February favourites.
Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion With Shea Butter
Every time I use this, my body is left feeling super soft and if I use a little bit of this on my face, it leaves my face feeling beautifully moisturised all day long and it even works well under makeup as a primer. You do get this slight oaty scent at first but it’s not overpowering, so it okay, you won’t be walking around smelling like oats. If you have dry skin or just want a body lotion that has a long lasting effect, you need this body lotion.
Sarah Jessica Parker: Lovely
I found this perfume on sale; 200ml Eau De Parfum with 200ml body lotion, plus two candles for £22. BARGAIN! I have been wearing this perfume quite often recently over the past two months. It has a unique musky but exotic scent. I love it! Also, a little goes a long way so I’m pretty sure this big bottle of goodness is going to be sticking around for a while.
I’ve been adding a spoonful or two into a few on my salad bowls that I’ve been enjoying throughout the month. As well as that, my family recently threw a dinner party where I made a bowl full of coleslaw. I received so many compliments. Want to try my Homemade coleslaw?
A close friend, Gez, recommended camomile tea when I told her I wasn’t getting any sleep. Although this helped me sleep the first few nights, it soon wore off. However, it has helped me relax when I feel a little uneasy or stressed which is great. At first, I didn’t think I would like the taste of it but to my surprise I liked it.
I know, I know, I’m a little late to the club but I recently started shopping in Aldi. They have a wide range of affordable products. It was amazing to see that I could do most of my shopping in Aldi and only spend half or more than half of what I usually spend in other stores.
No, I haven’t just discovered eBay but I recently decided to get rid of the stuff I no longer use or need and stuff that I have never used before. I asked on Twitter what you preferred to sell used/new items on and a lot of you voted for eBay, so I downloaded the app and gave it a go. Honestly, it hasn’t even been that long since I listed a few items and some of them got sold so quick. I was amazed! If you’d like to see what I have up on sale, check it out: ebay.eu/2lcu92q
TV Show: Riverdale
It’s a new one and a great one. It has a slight Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars feel to it. I don’t want to give anything away for those of you who haven’t watched it but if you enjoyed any of those two TV Shows, Riverdale is the one to watch.
Blogger of the month: Abbey from Abbey Louisa Rose
The sweet and supportive Abbey was one of the first bloggers to welcome me into the blogging community when I first started out and we even got to know each other a little more as we exchanged a few letters as we are a part of #BeeChat #SnailMail scheme. (I’ve taken a break but I need to start writing letters again) Abbey writes blog posts on different topics, such as travel, books, uni, etc. I always look forward to reading her posts and interacting with her on social media. When you have a minute, check out Abbey’s blog www.abbeylouisarose.co.uk and give her a follow on Instagram and Twitter.
So, these are all my February favourites. At first, I thought I didn’t have many favourites from February but then I started writing up the post and realised there were quite a few things I liked.
What did you think of my February favourites? What were your monthly faves?
