An eventful summer!

Heeeey! 🙂

It’s been a while since I last published a post and to be honest, as much as I love blogging, I enjoyed the little break. I have so much to share. If you follow me on social media, you will know I was busy enjoying the wedding festivities. It wasn’t my wedding, I’ve been married two years already [Alhumdulillah] but it was a family wedding and the first one since my big day.

We had such a good time! Every night we got together and made memories!

Just a few of the sweet treats we had on Mevs henna night. North African Algerian cakes are from the lovely @salimas_halaweyat (follow her on Instagram for more)

Thank you to everyone who participated in making all the sweet treats!
I can’t even begin to explain how much we ran around to organise, plan and prepare for this wedding. Spending every hour of the day with the family, getting on top of each other; arguing and making up a few minutes later, laughing and crying together; it was an emotional roller coaster! Thinking back now, we have had an amazing few weeks together, we made memories and everything was a success. To those of you I met along the way, it was such a quick catch up but it was so good seeing you after a very long time.

The night before the big day, we all got together to apply henna on our hands.
